Permits

Documents listed below are MANDATORY before the handler is allowed to apply for a landing permit. For overflight permit only A/C documents are required

A/C  documents

  • Registration certificate
  • Valid airworthiness certificate
  • Radio license
  • Insurance certificate covering DRC region
  • AOC
  • Noise certificate

Crew documents

  • Pilots License

General information for security services :

PAX flight

  • Passengers passports and DRC visa
  • Invitation letter stamped by an official in DRC
  • Available receiving party details (local sponsor name, cell phone, e-mail…)

CARGO flight

  • Cargo manifest
  • Packing list (Date of issue, Receiving party name and sign)
  • Cargo Letter of acknowledgment stamped by consignee locally
  • Available receiving party details (local sponsor name, cell phone, e-mail…)

CAA will NOT accept any application without these documents!

Be aware that The Civil Aviation Authority will not deliver any permit without approval from Security Services. 72HRS (excluding SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS) ARE REQUESTED before getting a feedback from Civil Aviation Authority.

The handler is not allowed to push this process. Only the receiving party could try to call the CAA.

It is MANDATORY that the receiving party has a local contact details as the local contact has to confirm flight when called by Security Services.
